Hardware wallets are a critical piece of secure self-custody of crypto. Ledger has been my go-to for many years, but I decided to mix it up given some of the recent controversy. I've had a chance to use the @gridplus Lattice1 over the last month or so so lets dive in! 1/🧵

After this wild week, I highly recommend you look into getting a Grid+ Lattice hardware wallet for your desk. When you have tx's to approve, the screen displays the infor about the tx in a more readable way than any other crypto hardware wallet out there.

While the details of this case are still to be determined, we're seeing an uptick in malware and browser scripts designed to automatically sign hot wallet requests. Be like @0xChunLi , stay vigilant, and preemptively take steps to stay safe! 🔐

Reminder: storing a complete plaintext seed phrase on paper or metal is a security vulnerability that commonly results in lost funds. If you're not using a SafeCard or an encrypted file, at least divide your seed phrase and store the parts in separate secure locations.

This is accomplished with SafeCards. Insert a card, enter the PIN, and you can sign with a totally different set of accounts. SafeCards double as secure account backups so you can say goodbye to the risks of writing your seed phrase down on sheet of paper.
